Sangre Taína was created to celebrate and uplift Puerto Rican art, culture, and identity. As a Boricua artist born and raised on the island, my mission is to keep our heritage alive through every brushstroke, every design, and every piece I create.

This store exists to share the beauty, pride, and spirit of Puerto Rico with anyone who carries the island in their heart — whether near or far. Through original artwork and culturally inspired creations, Sangre Taína honors our roots, tells our stories, and keeps our traditions vibrant.

I am Meceidi, a Puerto Rican artist born and raised on the island. Surrounded by the colors, rhythms, and spirit that shaped who I am. Though I now live in the States, my heart remains rooted in my culture, my family, and the homeland that inspires every piece I create.

Sangre Taína was born from a desire to keep our heritage alive, to celebrate the strength, beauty, and ancestral stories of Puerto Rico through art.  Every brushstroke is influenced by my memories, my identity, and the pride I carry as a Boricua.

My mission is simple: to promote Puerto Rican art, preserve our cultural legacy, and inspire others to embrace the richness of who we are.
